Wiring

Somone told me that you can wire a DVC sub up this way.

If it's Dual 2 ohms, connect the + to the other coil's - and then the - to the other coil's +.

So basically like you are going to go series, but do it two times.

Then to connect to the amp, you connect all the +'s to the + on the amp and all the -'s to the - on the amp.

If it's a DVC 2 ohm woofer you get a 2 ohm load.

Is this true? So that means you can wire a DVC 2 ohm subs to 1, 2, or 4 ohms????

Thanks,

Craig G

I guess the person who told you that either has NO idea about stereos, or he just does not like you and wanted to blow your stuff up. Go tell him he has no idea what he is talking about, and listen to helo. He knows his stuff.

Thanks, I was hoping Helotaxi answered, hehe.

Just didn't want to try it out and fry my subs. It seemed weird to me that I would have never heard of it before now seeing as I've been into caraudio for 5 years or so.

Thanks,

Craig G
