i have a BX1000D hooked up to my L7 and i am wantin to buy some components and a amp for them and on the BX1000D amp there is a inout and output for RCAs and i was wondering if i can hook up some RCAs from the output in the BX1000D to my amp for my components so i donw have to run RCAs again (also because my CD player on has 2 RCAs plug ins)

i was also wondering, when i hook up the speaker wire to the amp, do i just run new wire to the speakers to the amp and not do anything with the wires that r running from the CD player to the speakers?

Couldn't you do it both ways? hook the wires up with the CD player and the Amplifier to the speakers?
Not unless you want to possible burn up the HU. Disconnect the speakers from the HU before wiring them to the amp.

If the HU only has one set of preouts, they are not sub outs. They will be full range. You can use the outputs of that amp to get signal to another amp to run your components. Run an short RCA from the sub amp to the comp amp.

As for wiring your comps to the amp, it's just like wiring any other speaker.
