Afraid not. I’m defending the First Amendment and consistency in allowing people to exercise it.

Old Spokey feels that some people should have the right protected, but others shouldn’t, based on whether you like what they have to say.

With his line of logic, it might be OK for a Catholic to preach on a street corner, but not a Buddhist.
It might be OK to record a Bible lecture in a classroom, but not adult video.

These are just examples of selective protection of the 1A. He has actually steadfastly refused to say whether it would be acceptable to record a Bible lecture, or even re-enactments of things that are represented in the Bible, in a public school classroom

Teaching about religion in a secular context in schools is acceptable. It bares historical, cultural, and literary value. There were entire wars fought in the name of all religions that had huge historical impacts on nations and cultures. In all my years of school we were taught of certain religions but never in a celebratory or doctrinal manner.

Hard to argue that since religion is taught in a historical sense then porn should be accepted in the classroom to balance out the freedom of ALL speech lol .... but again, im not entirely sure if thats what you guys are actually arguing here.

Of course you are. It’s a topic the extends beyond you personal feelings, and the law of “because Thxone says so”.

It involves local and state statute, and possibly constitutionally protected rights. Stuff you probably consider made-up bullshit, like you do some federal regulations.

Some people just want it to simply be "porn bad", but they are also the people who probably wanted NFL players fired for taking a knee, people arrested for flipping off a cop, people shot for burning a flag, people banned from America because of their religion.
Things are much more complicated than that in our world.

I don't think anybody (on here especially) simply wants it to be "porn bad." Porn shot in public buildings, not cool, especially if it's a school. Nobody's right to free speech or expression is being curtailed if Porn shoots are kept out of public schools.

ahhh.... admittedly, im just getting pieces of the story in all honestly. This is not something i was not aware of lol

but if anything, outside of bad work ethics, im sure this violates all sorts of conduct policy with the school board. i dont really see how that can be defended under the constitution.
