You get 12 paid days off in a 13 week period? I find that hard to believe. That's about 20% of your possible work days paid while you stay at home. I will be the one to call BS. 48 paid days off per year? That seems like a stretch. You said that you can also call in and just say I'm not coming in? I'm not buying what you're selling. I'd have to see proof of working for the best company ever.

I'd kill for 48 days/yr. Most places, you'd be lucky to get 30 days/yr with 20 or less being pretty common. 48 days/yr is a lot even for Europeans.

You don't have to "buy" it. 96 hours quarterly. If they are used, they reset. If not they do not compound. It is a stressful job and they encourage good mental health including time with family. You don't buy it? Perhaps find a company that cares about its employees like those that have been family owned and oriented since the early 1900's. Douche bag.
I think it would be reasonable to name the corporation that gives 48 paid days off per year, with no questions asked. That's phenomenal.
There are probably forum members who would apply.

If worried about privacy, you could just share a pic of your employee contract or handbook that outlines the benefits. Those really are amazing.

"fear and horror". .
Yeah. Horrible to have someone who is paralyzed become ambulatory because of a nasty computer. Now we can't keep them under our control!

So Buttigieg is the one who came up with the unacceptable deal for the railworkers. So you can't really blame Biden for 1 sick day a year. Since Biden was able to get Dems in the Senate to stop the strike, I guess we chalk one up in the win column for Sleepy Joe. Can't blame Biden for no sick days when Pete was the deal broker.
