That's what Republicans get for not voting early. They get to stand in long lines and then bittch about it. Just more conspiracy theory bullshitt from Republicans. She lost. Get over it. Vote when it is most convenient for you. Don't wait until election day if you don't have to. Quit drinking the conspiracy theory kool-aid. The RED kind.

Slug didn't post any conspiracy theory stuff. They should run smoother elections. OTOH, why people wait in those lines when there are less time consumering options is beyond me.

The lines didn't seem too crazy to me. I remember waiting for hours in lines. Then I started voting early and now I vote by mail.
7 hour long lines. Numerous voting machine failures. The richest country in the world can’t get voting on voting day right. Its not a big deal though, we can vote early and by mail before seeing any debates. That seems fishy to a conspiracy theorist, and I’m not sure I blame them. Seems like we should be doing it better.

OTOH, wouldn't agree most voters will not change their minds no matter what, so mail in should be fine for them. You can hang to your ballot until the last minute. I'd assume most places you can drop it off the day of election.

Sure it's fodder for conspiracy theorist, but just about everything is fodder to those folks.

Why would you be ok with punishing voters who arent just party voters and actually listen to ideas? No offense, but that’s a pathetic way to look at how a true democracy should be operating. This just shows how pathetic our electorate is. The ideas don’t matter, the party does. This is why I don’t vote. My vote just gets cancelled by people who really have no ability to weigh different ideas, then the politicians who fill up the political parties all become as pathetic as the electorate themselves. There is a reason we have shitty politicians. That’s what we want.

Nobody need be punished. The miscellaneous bills, amendments, etc aren't going to change once they're on the ballot. Maybe a candidate will say or do something last minute, but that's unlikely. If you feel compelled to wait until the last minute, then get a mail in ballot and drop it off on the day of the election.

IMHO, voting in person should be a last resort...

in a system where it’s party over idea, you’re absolutely right. All you basically said is that everyone is lazy and partisan, so why debate the ideas on merit. I’m not sure how we expect to get good leaders in this way.
