It's weird that these two never watch TV or the news or anything but seem to be the be all end all source of every piece of news when it comes to past, current and future events.... and they are always right and everyone else is wrong.

If you think you need to watch infotainment to have common sense and a working knowledge of things, it says a lot.

You’ve had a biology degree for what should be 26 or so years, and didn’t know bones have nerves and pain receptors in them.
Out of high school for what should be 30 years, and don’t understand averages, real or nominal pricing, percentages, common English language usage and definitions.
Science, language, mathematics. All failed.

Maybe try cracking a book or jumping down the dreaded rabbit hole of information you CAN find on the internet, instead of playing games and watching Faux news on your “home entertainment system” laptop.
