windows EQ?

hey is there any free software out there that will EQ windows? i have an RTA and a pair of 8 inches as bass and 2 2-way satelite speakers for highs powered by a home theater sony receiver.. this is all hooked up to my computer.. and the readout on the RTA when playing pink noise is lacking bass and the highs arent really flat and id like to get a flat response for music production purposes.. anyone know an EQ-interface software?

no, windows media player's eq will only affect sound being played in wmp. i want an eq that will eq everything being played in windows.
