Actually, there is a very good way. I would call it a possesor ID card. You want to smoke, buy the card from the government, the more you would like to posses, the higher the price of the card. You get caught with the card, have a nice day. You have no card or you have a fraudulent card, you go to jail.

I grow it in my back yard and smoke it in my house.

There are these things called ammendments. People already use them when it comes to majiuana. They want to get a warrant to search my house? Sure. The plants are gone by the time it clears in court. And the government is not going to be able to keep on top of ever jane and joe pot head smoking in their house in the middle of the sticks.

That's just retarded. However, there are less carcenogens in Mary J than in tobbacoo. In fact, smoking marijuana is much safer to overall health than smoking tobbacco.

If the government really want to tax marijuana, and indeed they will, they will. Theres the method I suggested about holding a monopoly on the market. Ie. Grow massive amounts of weed on farms and sell it all below market price. Thus they will in turn be setting the market and weed and drug dealers would no longer be able to sell at a high enough profit to make pot worth their troubles. They will move on to some other drug which will in turn give the government complete market control. Or there is the method of having to purchase a lisence to smoke, kind of like a hunting lisence. You get caught smoking without it, jail time. And the idea of being able to purchase different levels of lisences to maximize the amount you can hold on your person is really good.

Im not saying this is fail proof. But you assume that every single person who wants to smoke weed will begin growing farms of it. I think this will be far from what will happen. Assuming that they keep growing illegal, what keeps everyone from growing it right now? I think there will be about a 50/50 split between people who are too lazy to grow their own and people who will. Probably about somewhere where it is now. And a downfall of growing your own is having to wait... And most people dont like to wait to get high.

Everyone says that marijuana has "tar". I really hope they're referencing the residue left by THC and other cannibinoids as they burn, cause there isn't actually tar like you find in cigerettes in marijuana.

There are cheap substitutes to everything that cost hundreds of dollars in hydroponics. $1000 can get you a great long lasting system. My mom tried hydroponics for a garden and it worked great but took too much attention. And waiting for weed? A few good plants will keep your stash going + storage for the colder months. Hell, one big (2oz +) bud of the good stuff (high potency means less smoking to get equally high) has kept aquaintances of mine going good for over a month. In a months time you may get two or three good buds from a couple good, healthy plants.

$1,000 could easily get you a nice system. But I was refering to your statement that hydropoincs is cheap (btw, $1000 isn't really cheap IMO) when in fact it's quite easy to spend up to $5,000 if you wanted to start a serious grow. Hydropoincs is more of a pin, but worth it IMO. You control just about everything. How much water they get, how many nutirents they get, flushing is a shit load easier, and most people will agree they get quicker and better results using it (if used correctly).

I think you read wrong. I don't believe that article said that smoking tobacco is healthier than someone who smokes nothing. It says that someone who smokes marijuana has less of a chance of getting cancer than someone who doesn't smoke.

This is bullshit. Depending of the type of plant (sativa, indica) it will take 3 months at the least probably for a plant to veg and finish flowering. Not to mention after those three buds dry your left with 75% of the original weight.
