Reason #1,273,431 why the gov't should legalize marijuana. No more guessin whats in your weed. Save lives by regulating it, let the FDA give their approval.

I totaly disagree. Maybe not very soon, but eventually yes you will be able to buy from a store. So many more people at younger ages try weed now and i believe people in congress will change that and start taxing it and selling it in stores. And then the population of dealers would greatly decrease, therefore a couple hommie who do small dealing would be off the street. I think it will be legal before i die and then the next step will be putting it out to the general public for tax money.

There is no way to tax marijuana. That is like trying to tax carrots.

The goverment makes illegal what it can not tax. Granted carrots are not illegal...because they are not widely wanted and are not mind altering.

And there is no practical way they can. Granted they can tax it if you buy it at the store. However, Mary J is 1000% easier to grow than tobbaco and the same goes for Alcohol. Which are the two legal, taxable, widely used 'drugs'.

As most anti pot lobbyists will tell you, Its actually the THC in the marjiuana that is showing to have several medical uses. But in all honesty, I dont see why in hell that matters. Its the THC that is keeping pot from being legalized anyways. Legalize THC and you legalize pot.

Correct, I should have maybe made myself more clear with that, but people don't usually say, **insert chemical name that fights off the cold found in nightquil** , fights off a cold, they say Nyquil fights off a cold //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Although, IMO (I thought I read somewhere about the following, but can't reme,ber where) THC by itself is not enough to give you the health benefits that Marijuana can. This is because THC is only one of several cannabinoids that work together to give you your "high". I have tried Marinol capsules (THC only pills) and it is nothing liek smoking a joint. Did not increase my appetite, and it sure as hell did not help with pain.
