Will weed be legal in nevada?

you can make your own alcohol and it's illegal (moonshine), i'd imagine it would be similar to that
that article is interesting, good things it's not a biased one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

don't believe everything you read, pro or con
It lists it's references. feel free to check them....

$1,000 could easily get you a nice system. But I was refering to your statement that hydropoincs is cheap (btw, $1000 isn't really cheap IMO) when in fact it's quite easy to spend up to $5,000 if you wanted to start a serious grow. Hydropoincs is more of a pin, but worth it IMO. You control just about everything. How much water they get, how many nutirents they get, flushing is a shit load easier, and most people will agree they get quicker and better results using it (if used correctly).
$1000 and maybe $20 a month in fertalizers is cheaper in the long run than $80 a month in getting the good shit. You can also just plant in your back yard and get decent results depending on where you live. And if you are not a heavy smoker you dont need hydroponics to get the perfect plant. For the winter months you can use some pots and a lamp and keep your bud going year round in your closet. I persoanlly wouldnt need the greatest ganga grown to get high. When I did smoke, that shit was too expensive.

I think you read wrong. I don't believe that article said that smoking tobacco is healthier than someone who smokes nothing. It says that someone who smokes marijuana has less of a chance of getting cancer than someone who doesn't smoke.
Marijuana has carcenogens in trace ammounts. If you mean vs tobbaco then weed is much safer. If you mean not smoking anything then I dont know where the carcenogens are comming from making air so much more dangerous. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

This is bullshit. Depending of the type of plant (sativa, indica) it will take 3 months at the least probably for a plant to veg and finish flowering. Not to mention after those three buds dry your left with 75% of the original weight.
Depends on the strain. There are hybrids that will make it to full bud in 6 weeks for some. If you have 4 plants and it takes even 2 months, that is two buds per month. You can also just smoke the leaf trimmings (all plants like to have older leafes trimmed) to get a buzz while waiting for the flowers to fully develop and bud.

You can then take the hemp stems and make cloths and save money there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I'll agrre with you there, in the long run, growing your own is better. Although you'll be payign a lot more than $20 a month depending on the type of lighting. A 1000 watt bulb will increase your electricity bill nicely. Not to mention the blowers or inline fans you may have to keep the room cool.

Did you even read the article? Marijuana in itself does not have carcenogens. Althoug smoking ANYTHING will give you these. If you consume marijuana in a cookie, problem solved //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Now listen carefully, they say that people who smoke marijuana have a lower risk of developing cancer than people who don't smoke. Why is that? because marijuana has properties that help fight against cancer. It's effective enough that it over comes the carcenogens that you may get from smoking it (you get those from smoking anything though). Do you understand now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You are talking about the lowryder strain. I actually believe it's still around 8 weeks though for it to finish. not to mention it's a very poor yielder. Like I said, unless your two buds are HUGE, it won't be a lot because they loose about 75% of their weight when dried. You could try and smoke leaf trimmings, but more than likely you'll just get a headache unless you got some serious bud that's about toinish and the leaves are covered in trichromes(sp?).

i did. and 420times and mpp are both still very pro-weed biased.
don't get me wrong i'm not saying its not possible.. just like i said be careful what you believe
Your absolutely correct, they are VERY pro-weed. Usually this would make a report like this useless, even to me, but the references are good. These experiments actually took place. The results are real. This is why it does not matter if 420 times wrote this. Hell the government could have published it, but that wouldn't change the facts of the experiment.

Marijuana has trace ammounts of carcenogens in it. Wether or not THC prevents cancer elsewhere does not shade the fact that you are smoking a plant which has carcenogens in it.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Marijuana has no carcinogens in it. If you smoke it, you will inhale them, but that goes with anything that you burn and then inhale the resulting smoke. If you were to EAT marijuana, you would get no carcinogens. I suggest you list a source of your information.

I was thinking the samething as I was reading the article. It's a very biased and one-wayer argument. I'd like to see some studies documenting the negative effects of Mary Jane that aren't, "fluffed" and filtered by the US government.

I'm not saying that Marijuana has no negatives. It just that everyone is always spewing around myths about it,and people need to push really hard to try and get a good image to marijuana. Of course the facts about the harms are left out due to this, but I'm sure the negatives aren't anything as serious as other legal substances. I'll admit right now, when I'm high you better not tell em anything you really don't want me to forget. Sometimes I am too high to drive, and sometimes it makes me lazier than i should. i'm sure they're are a few other things that are bad about it, but I'm at work and can't spend too much time lookingit up.

They can legalize it at the state level all they want, but it still doesnt stop the feds from busting you FYI
It's already been covered. Sure legally they can bust you. But honestly, how much time, effort, and money do you think the government is going to waste to charge thousands of people with possesion of an 1/8th? hell they wouldn't even bother you for an ounce more than likely. Not to mention, people are already pissed that the federal government won't recongize state laws concerning marijuana in California. Imagine what would happen when people start getting arrested in a state like Nevada (assuming it gets legalized) where it's legal to have an ounce for personal use. If anything I think it would hurt them more than help, since it's just going to cause people to push to get it's legalized federally (don't assume I mean anytime soon, but I would expet it too happen in the next 10-15 years).

No doubt. I guess the feds would be hitting up the growers more than anyone.

Yeah that's for sure. I honestly don't think I've ever read about someone in California getting arrested for possesion of just marijuana(I'm talking about medical patients //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif ), only for the people who grow there own. Although, just because it hasn't made the news yet, doesn't mean it hasn't happened I suppose //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
