will this amp work

i have 2 performance teknique 12 that put out 500 watts rms each and peak out at 1000 watts each

will a legacy la1020 4-channel 1000 watt series 2 amp work it can be bridged at 500w@2 channels but i dont think that is rms please help me

That legacy will probably give you around 200x2 rms bridged. So yes, it will work, but you obviously won't be getting peak performance from your subs. I'm not very familiar w/perf. tech. I'm thinking they're low to mid level stuff and would probably be fine with 400-500 rms. You're going to need a pretty serious amp to get a a lot out of them.
