i have a boss rev 635 which puts out 600w max per channel and its for 2 lanzar se10 subs which say 350w max....i read that the amp will put out 600w per channel regardless of the gain setting, so will the amp melt the subs?

all subs will get busted at a certain period of time(my opinion) and the life depends on how u use it, in your case... i think you'll burn your subs just a bit sooner than normal if u use them full blast,

but always remember that its always better if the amplifiers have more power than the subs THAN the subs having more power than the amps.

50-100 RMS lower than the sub will be alright but more than that will burn some transistors and shits inside the amp.

(correct me if im wrong pls)
