Will the JL 500/1 amplifier push a Triple 10 inch Visonik box? the RMS of the box is 600 or 800 (different sources, different numbers) it is probably better than the Legacy 1600 watt I am using right now huh? Thank you for your time.

yeh, itll push it ok, may even blow it - i never seen these subs but they look kinda budget - nothing wrong with that - but as a result the quality of materials, build etc - can it really withsatnd its rated RMS?????

i say, like audiolife, maybe some other subs???

Question--What's the final load for your enclosure? I'll assume 4 ohms.

My opinion is that what you hear will be similar to the legacy. Maybe slightly better. JL is known to rate thier amps fairly accurately so the 500/1 should give you 500-600 watts while I would guess the legacy at somewhere around 400-500, so I don't think there will be much of an audible difference.

I will say though, that the legacy could die tomorrow whereas the JL may last longer than you do.
