Will a 115 amp alt be enough?

Will a 115 amp alternator be enough to run about 1200-1400 wrms during normal driving, including night? If how many watts could this handle? i do not want to upgrade my alt and i just want to get as much out of it will still maintaining practicality. thanks. The car is an 86 Porsche 944 turbo if that helps at all.

that should be easy. I've got around 1200 rms with a 90 amp alt.

but don't you need a pretty good battery? (to supply the current the alternator can't provide)
