Why can't people drive?

If this is happening often to you, I think you're the one who can't drive/park. It has never happened to me.
Course, scratching tires the size of a small human is rather difficult...

i was one of the victims, left a big gash and scratches on the right side of my old mercury. i wasn't really upset because that car was already a pile of shit and had a few scratches here and there. i was the 17th victim of hers.

This is why I park as far away from stores in parking lots as possible

I always park far away. my friends get mad because they dont want to walk, so i just tell them to stfu or find another ride.

i did it to a car once. i was running late to work, but i could still make it on time, so i was speeding through this parking garage because i was parked on top, and this guy tried to turn around the same corner as me, so we were both just sitting there stopped, and i tried to squeeze inbetween him and the parked car, ended up running my whole passenger side up against the parked car.

if it had been a normal day, i would've stopped, but if it's between me losing my job, and some random guy paying a couple hundred for a new bumper, sorry guy but i'm keeping my job.

my insurance just came down from $3k/year to $1800/year from an accident i had that 2 other people caused and drove off. i have no problem driving off now. i aint paying.
but i actually know how to drive, so the only things i hit are intentional (mostly little children)

and i dont think my insurance has collision so this will come out of either my pocket or my parents.. (yes i have a job and no i didn't pay for my car and no i dont pay for insurance. i pay for my food/entertainment/college eventually and things like that.)

could be. i've never had tint on the front windows/windshield so i have no experience.

im using this forum to tell a secret i have never told before.

when i was in high school (bout 6 years ago) i was trying to squeeze into a spot and did this exact thing to a friend of mines fender. me and my best friend were in the car and we panicked, looked around and saw no one saw us and we moved spots and i never told him! i felt like a dick but was broke back then and i never told him. we graduated the next day and i saw him 2 weeks after and apparently he never noticed and the next day his brother was moving his car and hit the same fender on a tree. made me feel a little better cause it would of happened anyway but i still felt bad.

i have no idea how he didnt notice. it was bad but oddly enough i just had a small paint scrape on my bumper.

you know whats funny is that i hadnt seen him for years and about a year ago we ran into each other and got drunk together and i almost told him but i pussed out lol im sure it wouldnt be a problem now but i just couldnt do it lol

edit - Its not so much the people that park far away, its more the people that park across the lines taking up 2 spaces. If someone does that they are definetly crawling in throught the passenger door.

When I drive the Chevelle I'll take up either two or four spots toward the end of the lot, and you had better not park right up next to me either when I do that.

I hate parking my car at the mall or walmart. Walmart is the worst parking lot ever here it's too small and crowded.

One thing I have learned is to never park next to a handicapped spot.

Is it honestly THAT difficult to pull into a parking spot without scraping the car next to it? And do people really not have enough respect for others property to at least leave a note? This seems to happen quite a bit to my family and i'm really getting sick of it. Now there are two scrapes on the side of my front bumper. A few months ago someone put a dent about the size of a basketball in the back of my dads maxima. Luckily we were able to pound it out and it is now unnoticable. Someone ran into the back of my truck in a parking lot once and my rusty hitch met up with the middle of his hood. His insurance totaled the car. I still chuckle when I think about that.

I miss having my beater blazer. I wasn't too worried abut parking but now that I drive the El Camino a lot I worry while I'm in the store if anythings happening to it.
