Who owns an Audioque HDC3 10"?

Before I order one I was wondering if one ten will hit the lows like I want. The reason I ask is because of the 41hz fs and recommended box tuning of 38hz. I'm not looking to compete with one ten and 1200 watts, this will be in my daily driver but I do want it to be loud. Of course it is impossible for anyone else to know if I will be satisfied, I'm just wanting to know if anyone who owns one is satisfied themselves. The only down side is you are looking at a 12" sub in 1.4 cubic feet net tuned to 30 hz over a 10" subwoofer.

Mine hit pretty low. 12's of course though, and their at 36 Hz

I still can't decide if I want to finish my build with a pair of Digital Designs 1508s or go with a single 2510 or 3510. Like you, I took a look at the AQ HDC 10" subwoofer and worried about the high FS figure that they touted in the specs.

Of course, after all is said and done, I am having a hard time resisting the temptation to order the Mach5Audio 12.

I really dont know anything about Mach5 audio, all being equal wouldnt the hdc3 be louder

I owned ran, killed and rebuilt several hdc 10's. In the right box they will get down low and you can give them 2k with no prob.

dj recommended 1.2 - 1.5 cubes @ 38hz. i was thinking about going a little bigger and a little lower, maybe 1.8 @ 35hz. what do you recommend?

ok. what size port? in 1.5 at 36 a 6" port would have to be 34.8" long, a 4" would have to be 14.5"
