Which sub should i get?

Yeah and so is ur knowledge...if it did it prob had a COUPLE $1,000 plus dollar zapco amps on it something most of the people in the forum cant afford.Im a realist and try to stear people in the right direction.

What would a Zapco amp do to make it so special?

You do realize that any woofer will create more distortion than 99.9% of all amplifiers out there, right?

Please, since you are such a bright bulb, explain to me what makes a speaker a 'sq woofer'?

I'd really love to hear what you have to say about this one, professor.

What i was trying to say to the guy in a round about way was that it will prob pound but there will be better setups(woofer wise) out there that sound better.OK smart guy since uve been around sooo long and u know sooo much.So what r u trying to say....that all woofers/amps are the same....?Then what r we all doing buying the good stuff then?

I asked you to define a 'sq woofer'

Can you?

All amplifiers have the same design goals- to amplify power. That's all an amplifier does. It does not make magic SQ dust that

A woofer moves air. That's what it does.

I've come across people like yourself- that say 'woofer x sounds better than woofer y'. If you know how to properly design and install a woofer, you can make it sound however you want it to sound.

U neither work for a subwoofer company nor design them and u talk like u do.Im talking about sound. If u paid any attention to my 2nd from last post.I cant get a sony xplod to sound smooth like my jls...i dont care what u say/do.NOT ALL WOOFERS ARE THE SAME

You're right, I don't work for any companies, nor do I design them- did I say I did?

Yet you make blatant assumptions as to how a woofer sounds...when you probably have no extensive experience with them whatsoever.

Have you ever personally tested a H2 in different alignments? Have you done the same with an L7?

Have you even done so with your JL's?

To state how a woofer plays, according to the one isolated time that you heard it, in a specific vehicle with a specific alignment, and then to assume that this holds any bearing on how it will sound in a different alignment with a different environment, is idiotic.

A woofer moves air. That's what it does.----is what u wrote

U mean to tell me this means all woofers are the same?because they move air they all should be the same/sound the same??

U show me some sonys that sounds like jl's then.....cause id like to sell them then and get me some because ive overpaid for my stuff

No, but they are designed with the same basic goal in mind- to move air.

That is what a speaker does, is it not?

I still have not gotten any sort of response whatsoever to the question I posed to you- what makes a woofer a 'sq woofer'?
