Which sub would be better to get the 10" Kicker L7 or any series of JL. Also does anybody know if the JL W7 will fit in my truck it is a 1994 chevy 1500 series extended cab with bench seats in the front and the back. which one would be the best to go with? It possible could you tell me which amp should go with the sub you suggest. Thanks in advance

Sorry kind of a rookie what is sq and spl? also i am lookin to purchase the alpine iva-d300 and alpine sps460A speakers they are 4x6 don't really want to customize it that much. the best amp to go with it. I wanted to put the 12"s in but i didnt think they would fit. I was looking to put the subs underneath the bench seat. I heard the JL's were built to use in 3s and in the middle of the bench there is a hump which reduces the space. how would you build the box also. I do not know what other information to give you but if you have aim i would be happy to chat with you it is j21baller3

i thought so with the 12s. I was talkin to the guy at this place called precision sound and he said he didn't think that 10" W7 JL's would fit. what box size would make it sound best. Thats why he suggested the Kicker L7. I am looking for better sound quality. Also does it sound better if you build the JL's in a 3 sub formation or is it just as good witha just 2 subs

ive seen a guy with 2 10 kicker L7, and the box was downfiring,it sounded awesome and you didnt loose any space, but i dont think you can fit w7 under the seat

I was wondering how you would position the L7s in my truck because i have a jack stand that takes up a third of the space undrneath the bench seat will I have to take that out. is there a sound difference if you put one on each side or both on one side. Is a bigger box the best box to use. I mean to take up as much space to give the sub more space better or what happens to it.

the stuff you mention (bigger box, 2 subs on 1 side or not) is all something you will have to experiment and see which you like better, general rule though bigger box = boomier bass, smaller box = punchy bass. get the sub you want and experiment away
