I'm in the market for a new h/u. I had a Kenwood that went bad on me, not really sure if I should stick with them. Was considering a KDC-MP822, it's one of the D-Masks with 3 RCA's 2V each... Well i'm debating between that, and the new Alpine CDA-9839, also has a motorized face and 3RCA's but 4v. I'm leaning towards the Alpine cuz of my bad experience with kenwood and cuz i've had good alpines in the past, and alpine makes cd/mp3 changers. If not that I was really attracted to the Pioneer DEH-P7600MP. Nothing special about it, no motorized face, but it has the Organic EL display (what caught my eye), but it only had 2.2 V preouts. Should I really take the preouts into consideration? And do the D-Masks's fail a lot? My friend has a Panasonic CQ-C8100U, a motorized face unit with 2.5 V preamps and a nice display. My only question about that was Panasonic's car audio reliability. Do any of you guys favor any brands over others? Kenwood, Alpine, Panasonic, Pioneer...And what about JVC? I've owned a JVC too and had good experience. Should I really just be looking at the RCA voltages cuz that's really the only differences in specs...theyr'e all similarly priced
