Which enclosure?

Recently my insurance ag. sent me two Pioneer 10 inch ts-w254c speakers to replace older subs stolen from the back of my 96 camaro. Their specs are here:

The install guys put them into a subzone zbox (http://www.subzoneusa.com) thats:

1.45 cf, single chamber

ported 3" X8"

Fb is 36

This sounds ok.. but I know it could sound better and isnt very close to recommended specs (.8 sealed, .9 ported).

I graphed the other available zbox's that would fit using WinISD.

yellow: 1.68 sealed

blue: 1.45 vented Fb=36, (whats in there now)

red: 2.05 vented Fb+28

Which would be my best bet? Should I go with something else?I don't have time to make my own box. I was thinking the red one looked better.

PS. pioneer doesnt recommend a ported enclosure, but WinISD did?

From your graph...the blue you have right now seems to be loud, but I bet your bass sounds boomy and sloppy. I would vote for the yellow...very smooth line.

I would follow the manufacturer's recommendations before I would trust some software.
