Okay prime example...........I have NO IDEA what i have done to piss you off. I really dont. I dont talk crap, i dont spam, im polite, what is it that has gotten you screwed into the ceiling Expy? Put it out there dude. Im trying to learn, i will be the first to tell you i dont know a **** thing about car audio and the comp things that it comprises. You know what? Since ive made this thread i have had alot of IMs thrown my way about keeping the spirit of this forum alive, and about not dwelling on what haters will throw your way. People praising me for wanting to learn and challenging the way that this forum is known for doing things. Its sad that so many feel this way but dont say it publicly. Seems to me the whole, "im the man **** off" mind set doesnt hold the liquid as well as it once did. You guys that just wanna piss in peoples weathies, do your thing, but those of us that want to learn and master this craft will keep on helping one another. Be that guy if you want, but nobody, but nobody likes that guy.

you may not like him be hes the one taking home first place trophies this isnt overclocking a cpu where everyone has the exact same setup and cant get the number this is you build it to get loud and i for one will not tell you how i got loud PERIOD. its what i do to win. If i told you i might as well quit

most everything you need to know including the serects are out there (here) you just gotta take the time/effort to discover them... you cant just straight up ask "how can i make my car loud" PLUS its way more fun/satisfying to build and design your system all by yourself... knowing you didnt copy a setup that someone else spent lots of time and work on... do the research and people will be more than happy to help with specific questions along the way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

But seriously I get what this guy is saying. On the other hand. Secrets is what gives you the edge. By using the search button on this forum you will find almost everything you need to know about building a daily driver. As far as comps go you will NEVER get anyone to give up their secrets man thats just the way it is. You might go to a comp and "figure it out on your own" or they may tell you after its became mainstream. And if I found out a way to make my computer better than everyone elses I wouldnt tell a single soul either.

Two things,

And second, i have respect for everyone until they give me a reason not to. I Respect ability and know-how. I have great respect for those who can do more with what they have than everybody else. I mean no disrespect to anyone, however, i don't care if the king of Siam comes down and tells me to **** off. Thats not the point. This thread in no way meant any disrespect to anyone, I understand that most on this forum have MUCH MUCH more wisdom than i. Its the fact that to gain that wisdom i have to poke and prod. Seems a shame. I will let all knowlage that i have pass through me as it would through glass. But to get the same in return i have to filter throguh concreate. Seems an uphill battle. So i have had the master tell me not to post in this forum. Seems to me at the very least to be an interesting situtation. I am suprised at the fact that someone of so much nominal respect would be so hard pressed to share. Again im just trying to learn, if that is beyond the scope of the "great ones" then you have no business holding that title. If your an ***, then no amount of DBs will make you less of one.

But another thing. We have people on this forum who will straight up ask how many dbs will this setup hit? We dont flame him/her. But we try to point him in the right direction. There is no way we can tell you how many dbs you will hit with a certain setup.

But I also understand that there are some unnecessary flamings around here. But some of its well called for at times. Not saying that makes it right tho. All of the flaming can be avoided by either using the search button, or by not asking the questions that no one could possibly have an answer to. If more intelligent questions were asked, Im sure there would be less flaming.

Face it, its a forum. You cant get a ton of people together and expect everyone to get along with everyone. Toes will be stepped on. But alot of the people do learn from the flaming and all.

I understand that, and i dont care one bit about winning comps or anything like that, im not out to compete. I just want the most out of my setup. PEROID. Keep your secrets if you must. Look, im stationed in germany. I have no chance of competing with any of you, not that would if i were back in the states. I just want the most out of my system.

Bottom line dude is research on your own then ask specific questions that you found unclear or couldnt find by researching. Who knows with your researching you might teach someone else something. If you follow these steps you wont get flamed on this forum. At least not too bad.
