What would be the best amp??

What amp should i get for a Kicker Solo Baric L7 15" @ 4ohms?? My friend uses a 1200 JBL for his 15" DD, do you think that amp would be big enough to get the max out of my sub?? Any response would be appreciated. Thanks.

isn't the rms only 750 watts for the 15?

depending on which ohm load, i'd get a 1k watta amp to push one of these

jbl 1200.1 would be okay i guess... go easy w/gain though

no ssf w/jbl either

Could i get an external subsonic filter for that...maybe take care of that gain??

yea u could get a ssf, but i'd only get that if i were gonna get aported box

save your self the money and get a smaller amp...

trying to think of some amps that would do...i'll get back to you on them....

The Kicker KX600.1 would do nice, same as the JBL 600.1 (need to get ssf) Viper 600.1. PG octan 800.1, Kicker 800.2. All would be fine to use...

does anyone know if the l7 15 sounds very good? i have a honda accord 97' and someone told me i'd be better off with two l7 10" instead of the l7 15 because the 15 would just sound shitty. i think hes full of it!!!!

(i'm planning on a ported box if i go with the 15 and a closed if i go with the 10's)

They are deffently not a SQ driver but in the proper enclosure pretty much any sub can sound good. Tunned to high 20s low 30s it should sound decent. It is more of an SPL driver. A 15 will sound just the same as a 10. He is full of it...
