What to Tune my Box to?

Shortly, I will be enjoying the RE SX 12" I ordered last week. I will putting 900wrms to it via my Soundstream Picasso 900.1. But first, I need to build the box! My question to yall is what hz should I tune the box to? I enjoy SPL a little more than SQ so a 60/40 mix would be perfect. With this in mind what hz should I tune to?

if you like 60/40 music i would say around 35-37

Ima total SQ-Fanatic. I had my new box tuned to 24hz.

But in YOUR case, I'd say tune 33-35hz.

I have a 35hz tuned box. And it plays LOUD, with enough SQ to satisfy me for most songs.

The guy above me mentioned upto 37hz, but "I" wouldn't go THAT high. 35Hz at most, 33Hz safely. My friend has 2 L7 12's in a subzone box tuned to 37Hz, and they do not play lows well. But hey, solobarics **** imo, maybe it was the subs.

My SX is tuned to ~35 hz and it has about the ratio you are looking for. Maybe up to 36 would be perfect.

If you plan on having a big ass box for you 12" SX like 6+cubes, then yes. Tune it high!
