what subs would you recomend for 98 civic

dude in a 98 civic half of the back seat folds down . so for no rattles i would go with a 8inch solo baric in a vented hatchback box . and you could even face it to the front of the car so that when you drop the seat it will be like its in the car my freand did this in his 4dr 2000 civic but he used a 12 inch L7 . just dont over power it cause then it will sound like crap.

I agree that having the sub facing forward does look tight, and I have used the folding seat trick to impress friends with my sub, but for the best sound point it directly at the rear of the car. Reason: The bass wave needs room to 'unfold.' How much room? About 15 feet! Anyway I found the best sound comes from having the sub as close to the rear seat as possible and pointing the sub toward the license plate. ~k
