what sounds louder to the ears?

same tuning, bigger box should do that trick.

by me doing the polyfil with the box, the bass is deeper, thats whaat i wanted box its not as loud to me tho. b4 i did the polfil, the low notes would barely move the subs and it would sound like poop. i want to do 1 solo x 12, will that sub get loud and low as ****???

Ive found that the lower the port tuning goes, the less impact the substage has during bass hits. I had mine tuned to 28hz for a while, it played the lows **** well. However that impact just wasnt 100% there.

Im thinking anything below a 30-32hz tuning frequency should be reserved for a home system.

i built a box for my 12inch audioque tuned to about 42hz and that shit was loud as fuck inside the cabin but it was pretty quiet outside; i mean you can hear the bass and the rattling but it didnt sound as good as my buddy's two type r 10s sealed from far away.

Always been the opposite for me.

Whats the deal with the retards wanting to be heard from far away? Don't you realize that if you're being heard from such a great distance, the inside of your car is just losing THAT much bass.
