What size amp do I need???

I have 2 Pioneer 12" 450 Watt Max. Subwoofers. What size amp do I need??? I would prefer a Pioneer amp if they make one big enough. Please help me. Does it need to be bridged or what?

You will probally need about a 600 watt amp. You probably will not be using more than that.

go with a 600 watt amp. or a amp that will run around 300 x2 at 2 ohm. you can also run them bridged. go sub to sub, then run bridged mode off the amp, so you can get max. but i'd recomend finding something that has about 250-300 x2.

ok my brother had the same subs in his jeep and he used 2 sony xm-5520 amps (260wtt) to power them and he would set off the alarm on my neon when he was parked 2 cars behind me, so i would recomend going with 2 250-300wtt amps
