what should i get for my civic?

im not sure to go with a rockford HX2 powered by a rockford 1000 in a dualported bandpass box. i wanna know if i should go 2 or 1 and how much power i would need for 2. any suggestion will do.

I am currently running 2 punch hx2's in a 6cuft slot ported enclosure tuned to 35hz. And it rattles pictures on the walls in the house

I am powering them with a RF BD1000.1. Killer combo if you ask me. Remember to keep the ohm load of your one or two subs in mind when you purchase an amp. You don't want to buy an amp that puts out max wattage at 1ohm if you have a 4ohm load from your subs.

what would sound better 1 hx2 at a 1000 w or 2 hxs at 500w

Better is a matter of opinion

BUt the two would be louder due to the double cone area.
