What should I expect?

Ok here is what is going in this Friday:

Deck: Alpine 9833 w/XM Tuner & Ant.

Front Speakers: Alpine 6-1/2" w/Tweeters

Rear Speakers: Alpine 4"x6" (off deck)

Subwoofers: 2- JL 10" W6v2

Amp Front/Rear: JL 300.2 (running the front set)

Amp Subwoofer: JL 1000.1 (running 2 subs)

Box: Custom Fitted/Ported

How many DBs should i expect to hit? I'm not looking to blow out windows or deafen myself, but i am looking for plenty of bump and SQ

I think u have a pretty nice set up and will prob be loud enough for u since it doesnt look like u wanted an spl monster system. Ported is louder than sealed but doesnt always sound "better" but if installed nicely then i will sound good.

Gets annoying when people keep on asking what db's they will hit. The only way to tell is to get all your stuff installed, go to a shop with a good mic and get tested. There is no way of telling what you will hit, it depends on how good the install is, subs, watts, box, etc. As far as your box goes, stay going ported.

i thought ported sounds better

I run 1 12W6V2 off a JL 500/1, sealed and love it. Some people prefer ported boxes, and some prefer sealed(I am in the latter category).
