Actually it's CDC that made the rules. I get you want throw a wrench in the gears because CDC stats show the Covid vax is saving lives. Or maybe you just wanted to "start a conversation."
Or perhaps the logic of why CDC labels deaths as they do escapes you? CDC uses this data to help shape policies and direct actions. For example, kidney failure is common "cause" of death in cases of cancer, flu & covid. By correctly atrributing the death to cancer rather kidney failure, we are able to better direct resources & research to solving & dealing with the issue.
We could use the THX system and researchers would be befuddled as to why respiratory failure, kidney failure, heart failure, etc jumped up in 2020-21 and went down in 2022. OTOH, this seems to be a neoconservative tactic in recent years: sow distrust & confusion in the systems that we use...
