Hey just wondering for the people that have these what are they I'm going to be moving to Kansas and was told I need to visit one before I can get my car registerd there. If you have them in your state can you give me a basic rundown of what it is thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just make sure your e-brake, lights, wipers, blinkers, hazards all work and it must pass emissions or at least here in MA you have to.
They don't have inspections stations in FL?
If they do I never have had to go to one. What does it take to pass emission lol I know for a fact non of the stuff done to my car is carb legal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif I'm gonna be pissed if I can't get it past emissions to get it registered I just dumped 500 dollars into fixing it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

You may not have to do emissions, here in MA they do require it but they are really slow rolling out the hardware for it so if I were to fail at one place I could just look around check out the bay at another if I needed to somewhere else and see if they are running emissions on the other ones they are testing.

Depending on what type of area an extra 'tip' to the owner of the shop can sometimes help you get around this issue just look for a puerto rican owned shop (no racist)

If you are on a car forum that others may live around you who modify their car they probably know of a shop that can hook you up.

Yah I have been looking for a car forum up there, I was told by a cop up there that I need to. Do they check for carblegal parts or do they just check to see if it has the cat and everything still?

whenever you registar a car from out of state (buy a car from out of state or move to a new state) you have to have a vehicle inspection. they mostly check the vehicle identification number (V.I.N.) against the paperwork, some states require an emissions test, kansas does not (at least it didnt when i lived in wichita, but i moved from there about 4 years ago). its mostly to check the title vs. the car and such, and is not a problem unless your car is built out of several cars.

WOOT! Because I know for a fact it won't be passing any emmissions any time soon. Since non of the parts are carb certified except the turbo everything else is custom fabbed up. Pa is for an actaul police siren not for music.

A VIN inspection is different than an vehicle inspection.

We used to sell ATV's from overseas and had to have a state trooper come and verify VIN numbers. All they should do is look at the vin plate and the title.

At least thats what a VIN inspection is in WV
