The width is 15.5, These are outside dimensions.

Usually Im pretty good at this but I'm having a brain fart I guess. Im guessing it is around .58 cu.ft.

I hope the pic isnt hard to see. Here are the dimensions.

Height is 12.5"

Bottom depth is 11"

Top Depth is 4.5"

Front Height is 3"

3/4 inch mdf. Sorry. That is the site I use. The cal. they have doesnt include the extra dimension I have. The top side which is 4.5 inches. That's why I cant figure it out. In the block for height 2 on the calculator, Would I add the two numbers together and figure it that way? Like in height 2 put 7.5?

you could separate into a trapezoid & a rectangle....

a 3x11 rectangle, and then the height of the trapezoid would be 12.5-3 = 9.5

so you'd have for the trapezoid:

0.5 * h * (a + b)

0.5 * 9.5 * (4.5 + 11)

and for the rectangle, l * w.

3 * 11

add those up (0.5*9.5*(4.5+11)) + (3*11) and multiply by the width, 15.5

that would be the outer width; so for inner you'd have to account for the wood thickness

(((11*3)+(5.75*1.5)+(8.75*5.75*.5))*12.5)/1728

((33+8.625+25.15625)*12.5)/1728

(66.78125*12.5)/1728

834.765625/1728

approx. .48308195891203703 ft^3
