Upgrade which later the amp or the subs? I am very happy with my Alpine MRP-M350 700 max 350rms at 2ohm.

Look into different brand names:

Hifonics

Memphis

Diamond Audio

Phoenix Gold

JBL

etc.

and do some research on their amps to see what suits your needs best...after some decent research I've started opting for the Memphis 16-MC500D...it looks nice, it's small, and it's a good performer...it's all opinion but those should be some good areas to look in...
