My brother in law died in a car accident and had his seatbelt on.

For me, it doesn’t matter if masks work or not. If someone wants me to wear one on their property, I will. My opinion is that they work to keep your saliva in your mouth when you speak, but an air born virus will travel right through it. If Rob or any other liberals knew any real “science”, they’d know a percentage of how much virus is stopped from getting through the mask and how much virus is trapped when leaving your mouth. They don’t. They pretend to know science based on some shit they heard on Facebook, or a case study of 1000 people. Fake liberal scientists have destroyed their own arguments by being idiots who let their gums flap in the wind on social media. “Science deniers” are usually “liberal deniers”, but liberals can’t wrap their small minds around that, so they just spew hyperbole and pretend they know science. It’s pathetic.

Remember that guy who was excommunicated for saying the Earth revolved around the sun? Yeah, that was because “god” said the science was wrong.

Science is based on proof, fact, observation, testing, verification. It’s not “beliefs”. It’s not “religion”. It’s not “feeling”.
A lot of people confuse the two.

We turn yo specialists because they know more than we do. It’s how things like the computer you are typing on got invented.

People who fight science with feelings are tilting at windmills. That’s pretty stupid, a waste of time, and can endanger themselves and others.

That's the thing about science. ANYONE can quote Einstein's Theory of Relativity and be correct, without even having to understand it. Einstein did the work and the proofs exist.
But, there are probably morons out there who "know" Einstein was wrong even though they have no proof, no education on the subject, no peer-reviewed studies, NOTHING. Hell, the existence of flat-earthers tells a lot about our society.

Similarly, people are now fighting against science because they were empowered to do so over the past several years. People fighting science with no cogent argument. But they "feel" they are right.

The British Journal of Medicine quote is a comparison of cloth masks against medical-grade masks. Like comparing a butter knife to a scalpel for cutting skin. The scapel wins, so does medical-grade versus non-medical grad equipment.
