Given your varied incorrect usage AND overuse of the word, I’m 100% sure that you: 1. Don’t know the meaning of it. 2. Hear a word and latch onto it, using it wherever you can because you think it makes you seem smart.

It doesn’t
Really... not 99.4%? I ask because you list more than one option.

No. 100%. For each option.
If one was 100 but the other was 98.8 however, we’d have your 99.4%

With only two options.
Mind-boggling, huh?

Are the videos we see on our news of police breaking up protests in Australia not true? Our news ***** here and can’t be trusted, which is why there are so many people who create their own conspiracies.

Uhmmm, the numbers are WAY off.

Probably not great to use a factually incorrect meme to support your thesis.
I saw a meme that UFOs are real. Not so much.

We are at over 40 MILLION cases with over 650,000 DEATHS.
Regardless of the percentage of population, 650,000 DEATHS is not a trifling amount. Especially when you previously railed about the horrors of the 3,000 deaths from 9/11.
THAT day was only 1/10,000 of one percent of our population lost.

Either death is an issue, or it's not.
Pick a side.

I thought it was a humorous meme but if you want closer numbers I can bring out that percentage stuff you all like so much.
Here, lets round up to 331,000,000 People in the U.S. and round up to 670,000 "COVID Deaths" that is 0.2041% of the population in this country. 2/10ths of 1%. That seems a lot less scary than saying 670,000 people have died from COVID. See, using percentages can be used to elicit a less scary looking amount as well.

670,000 deaths is scary in any form that you want to put it in. But, you can downplay the deaths all you want. How about saying Covid has killed 223 times the people that 9/11 did.

I am not downplaying it. Making a point that % numbers can go both ways.

So when I say 1/10,000 of 1% of our citizens died on 9/11, do you think it silly that we went to war against ISIS/ISIL and killed Bin Laden?

You say it's a humorous meme, but people who are genuinely using it to downplay the severity of what has happened in our country can best be described as ******* *******s (asterisks entered by me).

We lost 282,000 in Vietnam, ONLY .13% of the population.
Not a big deal, right?
idiots.

Was 9/11 a virus or a hostile terrorist act upon our country?
