What amp for RE SX 12"?

what amp should i buy for single RE SX 12" sub? im building a box on specs givin by RE themselves on thir site...about 6 cubes...im lookin to spend 250-300 on the amp shipped with 1000 watts rms. im 60/40 on the spl/sq. please recommened anythin you have experienced. thanx.

i have a fosgate 1001bd and am very happy with it. some people say it gets hot, but i havent noticed anything to be worrisome over. it puts out 1000 watts at 2 ohms, so if you have dual 4 ohm vc's then it would work.
