well...9515 sounds just better than xxx15!!!

i had 1 9515 that burned twice.

i bought an xxx15 and thought that was the real thing.it sounded awesome low and loud but didn't have the clear kick of 9515.

i decided to recone my 9515 again and i am shocked with sound q.it's tuned at 21hz and plays equal perfect from 200hz to 20hz!!!

rock and house never sounded so good.

xxx15 was very boomy.lots of output under 80hz especially under 50hz but nothing around hard notes over 100hz.

i love both subs but dd is my first love and can't forget it.

i still don't know what to do.

should i use only dd or re or both?

well..........it is a SUB-woofer.........

I think you just prefer the sound of a high Q, high FS sub.........

yah... if you're looking for midbass.. the DD will do it..

dunno why you're wanting huge output at 100hz.. but whatever
