I love the Wayback Machine. Check out this Eclipse Prototype that never made into production... At least not for the Eclipse brand. Short top plate and quad stack makes it look like an LMS driver, but I dunno. Just a guess.

Too bad they didn't produce any....it would have done well judging by the excursion that thing was doing.

Inorite? It's probably the sample they prepared for Eclipse before they decided to go with the TC9 version, the SW8000 & SW8200.

Yeah, that one is definitely setup more like the LMS4000 V.2 but with the high roll surround. --> TC Sounds (LMS-4000)

Those were the days.

Looks very much like LMS4000. I had a pair of 12's for a bit. Sold them to a friend in New Hampshire who is a notorious hoarder of audio equipment. There they will stay I imagine.

I've been fortunate enough to acquire one of each size - 10, 12 & 15. I imagine those will stay with me as well.

That pair looks like a custom job. Honeycomb fiberglass cone with the thicker rubber surround? Did you like them?
