im using a ported box and i was wondering if that changes the watts needed for the sub. like would i use less or more. my plan was too buy a hifonics bx1500d or pg tantrum 1200.1 for my 15" mag but my pay check was a bit smaller than i expected so right now i only have enough for the bx1000d. but if ported boxes need less watts than ill be cool with the amp but if not im gona have to wait another two weeks. thanks
