if you have two DVC 4 ohm subs, you won't get to a two ohm load...

How many speakers are you trying to hook up to the same amp? Are they single or dual voice coil?

If you got one 4 ohm speaker and hook it up to a 2ohm stable amp, it just won't run a 2 ohm load. It will run a 4 ohm load.

how does a Dual Voice Coil sub work...say its a "dual voice coil 4 ohm sub", how would I wire two of these? Its confusing me...do I use both voice coils if Im not running two amps?

Be advised if you bridge your amp a 4 Ohm Mono load is the same as a 2 Ohm Stereo load. Make sure your amp is bridgable. OR DO NOT TRY AND BRIDGE IT.

Do not try to go to the 1 Ohm load unless you amp can handle it. YOU WILL BURN IT UP.
