well right now ive got a 12W7...had it for about 4-5 months, and i like it alot.

but, i want something with a little more upper frequency punch(kicks), and a little louder all over the board.

so i was thinkin about gettin 2 MTX 9500 10's, and puttin em each in their own 1.75 cube box @ 35hz.

good idea, or bad idea?

Sounds like you need a stronger midbass if its lacking in the higher freqs.

but if i was u, and just had to waste more money when it already sounds great, i would buy a dozen or so bazooka tubes...

i vote another W7 in their spec ported box...you wont be dissapointed i dont think gave me alotta punch on only one 1000/1

What box is it in? If its sealed try a smaller one. Otherwise just go for stronger midbass. Its gonna be pretty hard to top that W7.

sealed is my next option...but i dont feel like sacrificing output.

i may...i had one that was 2.8 @ 35 hz...it did a pretty good job of the upper freq's.

i might build a little smaller one tuned a bit higher.

if i remember right you have factory speakers.....why not just get those eD mid bass's or something along those lines and keep the sexy w7 and save a shit load of cash.....or bazooka tubes
