I was just wondering if anyone here was going to compete with less that 500rms?

I guess I just wanted too see what other low power systems are hitting.

i was running 350w, but i am now using 700w. gonna stick with this amp.

i do believe with some trial and error, a 150 is very doable with 700w

i think he means a true 500w, not some false usaci rating

How does USACI work their ratings? Is it based on the rms wattage at 4ohm or peak rms at 4ohm? Because mine is 200rms(4ohm) 350(2ohm).

And do they ever say anything about that?

I highly doubt anyone in my neck of the woods will have anytihng like that. But do they use the peak 4ohm rating or the rms 4ohm rating to determine this?

Considering that last years model claimed 4kw output and benched around 1600, I wouldn't believe a word that came off of their site...

so i got you beat 1 vs 4. the amp was metered on a"metrix" (i have no idea what this is) @ 12v 380A. where did you get your specs im just curious? and how much were your amps. less than $400 and will run on 17v.

CA&E did a test on the MA amp...found it did ~4700 watts. Many experts questioned it, and then the person that actually did the test came out and said there were many errors in his testing and that the numbers were off...

I have known the specs to my amps, they do anywhere from 1kw-1200w@ 1 ohm and around 14-1600@.5 at 12v... $550 for all 4- American Bass CX1200d's...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
