aight so im lookin into building a sleeper car

so heres what im thinkin a 94 geo metro with a mazda MX6 engine think that would work? I think that would be crazy a 2.5 V6 in a tiny metro.

Also I read about a ford festiva with a mazda or kia engine or something like that?

anyone else have any ideas on some sweet little crap cars no one would be afraid to race that could handle a sweet engine swap?

A volvo 240 with a blown 350 chevy engine. Yes, it has been done.

A focus with a roush racing V8. Yes, i think they will sell a kit soon.

A Civic with the V6 from the Accord coupe.

A modded 5.0 engine from an older Ford Mustang into a Mazda Miata. Or, a turbocharged Miata. They sell kits for Mustang engine in the Miata and turbocharger kits. I think http://www.flyinmiata.com has the turbo kits.

If you just want to buy a car and not do anything to it you can get an early nienties Infiniti Q45. They have an underrated 278hp 4.5L V8 and with a ecu chip can gain as much as 30hp and raise the rev limiter to 7500rpm (thats an impressive redline for a V8). Even stock they'll keep up with a new 350Z from a roll all the way to the Z's 155mph speed limiter and then keep going after the Z stops accelerating (my friend has done it). Oh yeah, my friend has almost 240k on his now. He beats the living crap out of it with neutral drops and stuff and the Q45 takes whatever he can give it.

Did I mention you could get these cars for under 5k easy? He bought his a year ago for $2500 with 202k miles (so thats almost 40k miles in a year). They are some of the best sleepers you can buy.

cuz we all know u can put a mid engine cars engine in a front engine car within reason. seen a blown LS1 in a old Z car. got sidways goin like 60 just floorin it.
Look under the hood of a Legend or a RL and say that again. The motor isnt mounted transversaly, and is still FWD. The differential is bolted to the oil pan and the block, and the axles go through the oil pan. Its no different from putting the 3.0 from the accord / the automatic version of the NSX is a 3.0.

Best sleeper= dodge spirit r/t, fastest car in 1991 or 92 not shure. known as the granny car. Turbo 4cyl by lotus/dodge. Its a 4 door too! no engine swap needed here. 224hp stock in 91.

an h22 or b18 swap wouldnt be a sleeper anymore, thats pretty common now in civics all over. ive seen a 454 fiero, thatd be insane. ultimante stock sleeper - buick grand national, i think thats it- the mid eighties turbo buick?
