OK, so today I Was trying hardwire an XM Roady, and the power source requires a cigarette adapter, which converts the voltage from 12v to 6v (because the Roady only works with 6v). So being the perfection ist I am, I wanted to hardwire this too.
So I took apart the cigarette adapter and soldered the negative to the black wire in my wiring harness and the positive terminal to the red wire in my wiring harness. After all was said and done, I electrical taped everything into a neat little package.
Than I turned it on and it didn't work, so I pulled everything apart and returned all the wiring to normal. Now the HU won't even turn on.
What Gives?
Thanks
