get the NCH tone generator i was told u about. u can make tones for as long as u want and what ever dB u want. its free u just need to google it. and use a -6dB test tone and sound like youll be set

I dont have a burner to burn the songs onto i have 50hyz test tones but no burner to burn them with!

do u have any bass tracks or songs with a steady bass to it. that would work in a pinch. and once u have access to a burner u can brun a 50hz tone

this is what i am questioning. is this the bass boost? if so, turn it off while setting the gain voltage.

No thats the frqency adj on the amp no bass boost could you send me ANYONE send me a cd with a bunch of steady 45-50hz bass tracks?

ok, i can tell you this... 45~55hz is too high for a ssf, and to low for a lpf.

which one is it?

reference level is what level the tone is recorded @. -6db below reference, -3db below, or a 0db reference tone.

So how would a -6db reference play compared to something like a 0 db reference on the same system?

Ok with the car off running 12.76 volts i acved it at 42.6 the freq is around 38 the gain is about 1/4 of the way up the freq about 1/4 also it isnt even loud is sounds like i have really shitty subs that with a 45hz note and with everything on the cd player set off or to 0. So idk what do you guys think when my car is running it produces 15.2 volts!whats the dizzeal any suggestions?

you have your x-over set at 38 hz....thats your problem. that and the fact that you don't listen very well.....

x-over i have no x-over adj! Alls i have on my amp is a feq which is at 38hz and my gain is set to 42-43V!!
