two se's or one xxx

Which subs would be a better set up for a directed 1100 d amp, 2 12inch resonant engineering (SE's) or 1 15inch xxx. I will be at 1ohm 1100 rms x1. Also it will be in a hatchback mustang and i go a little more for spl.

Opinons would be appreciated thanks.

i'de go with the 15 inch xxx... wont take up as much room and will get plenty loud

yea you will be underpowering the xxx's by a lot that you wont get the full potential, get a 15" SX if you want an RE sub they are 1000rms and are supposed to get louder than the xxx with less power, if your going to upgrade to a better amp yea then get the xxx

my suggestion would be to get 2 sony 12" p5 subs.they pound hard and i'm sendin 1000 watts to both of em so that amp would work good.they are sq subs tho so u mite wanna go bandbass

sony doesent even come close to resonant engineering

yeah but your trying to compare sony to resonant engineering, and sony doesent even come close to being as good as resonant engineering

yeah ive heard an xxx 15" and it will blow any sony away, my dad used to have a p5 in his truck and it had very little sq and spl
