Two Hifonics BX1500D for what pair of 15" subs?

While waiting for my Adire 15" Brahma to be shipped, i am shopping around for a pair of subs for my daily driver. Acoustic Visions told me that my brahma will be shipped soon; and that was 38 days ago =(

I got two Hifonics BX1500D amps. Can you guys recommend a good pair of subwoofers? I want somthing with more SPL than SQ, maybe 65% SPL and 35% SQ.

i would also like to use a ported/vented box, but my trunk is rather small. the max dimensions on the box that can fit my trunk is:

MAX Width = 43 inches

MAX Height = 18.5 inches

MAX Depth = 19 inches

with the dimensions listed above, would i have trouble fitting two 15" subs [with ported box] into my trunk?

2 RE XXX would fit into that price range. 2 SX's would be nice as well, a bit cheaper. If you aren't looking for RE, you could go with Kicker L7's. They will have more SPL than SQ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

on RE's website, the XXX's recommended enclosure is 4 cubic feet tuned to 30 HZ. for the cubic feet, is that before or after displacement?

the XXX's are on my list. im hoping members would name a bunch of subs so i can do some research before i buy.

dont count on getting the A's. it will be a while longer before they are out. 2 SX's would be sweet and would get louder than a pair of xxx's on 1500 watts apiece.

what company makes SC? i was thinking i would find it at http://www.respl.com but that sub is not listed. Only RE, SE, HC, XXX and MT.

I think what the SX is is actually the SExxx. It is like a beefed up SE with some of the XXX motor. Think you have to contact RE to get them If they are even made yet. The SXs replaced the HCs but yes i think they are a SExxx. I got my 12" SX. Gunna get it May 15th cant wait.

get XXX's man, screw the brahma. by the time u get it itll probly fall apart on u, and ull be without a sub for another lifetime.

2 15" XXX's should cost u like 900 bucks shipped. With 2 hifonics 1500d's that would be nasty loud and sound awesome. and i mean SICK loud.

are the brahma subs really that bad? i thought the brahma and XXX were similar subs and were built in the same build house?
