tweeter placement PLEASE HELP

ive put dynamat in my both front doors and fit custom speaker bracket and woofer in, now i just have to put tweeters in and im done. i know it would be pain in the *** fitting them in the doors because ill put them in surface mounting pod and angle it 30 degrees so its pointed to my ears. in focal's manual it says that tweeters should be pointed towards opposite car side's door and a lot of people told me to point them to the ears. now im confused and im thinking should i put them on the dash by the windows and point them towards opposite seat or should i put them in the doors flash mount them so they are facing opposite door, or angle it 10 or 30 degrees and put them in the doors so they either point to my ears or opposite seat?

can anybody please help me i have to get them installed tomorrow and sorry for the long post

well i've heard many opinions on tweeter placement and thats exactly what they are opinions. Opinions are just like cowboy hats.... every a$$hole has one! lol now heres mine, if you play your music at a high volume you dont want them pointing at your ears, they will ring for days, it really hurts. go ahead and do so if you dont. My question to you is do you have a sub and is it bumpin good ? 'cause that'll determine how much you'll hear those tweeters too. it all has to sound solidly even if you're looking at a sq setup which by the looks of things with those focals it does.

I got mine in my dash... if you wanted to be stylish put them on ur rearview mirror..

but i have like big tweeters so they sit on my dash, if you have saller ones they could still go there or on the panel holding the window, pointed towards the rear of coarse

U really gotta c what sounds good to u, but every pair I've had said same plane and no more than 18" apart...they soundn't sound harsh they should blend in with the mids, but that's my *******...oops i mean my opinion....peace
