Tv's and DVD's in Dash

OK basically im looking to get a DVD player and a TV screen for my car. Also, a PS2 would be nice and it plays DVD's, which would mean that I wouldnt need an extra DVD player just a screen. The thing is, I already have an Alpine 9815 which I am very happy with for sound, so really I have two options and Id appreciate your opinions.

Option 1) I can sell my 9815 and get a flipscreen DVD/CD/MP3 player (I would prefer touchscreen, any suggestions?) Would this give me better SQ while playing DVD's than if i was playing them from a PS2? This would be nice because I wouldnt have to rework my whole dash to put a TV screen in, and there would always be something going on on the video screen, like a screen svaer or something even when im just palying music. Plus I could still add a PS2 if I wanted to to one of the AV outlets.

Option 2) I can keep my Alpine 9815, rework my dash, and add a 6-8 Inch TV screen in-dash. However, to play DVD's i would have to rely on a PS2, and wouldnt this give worse SQ and less bass than from a flipscreen unit playing DVD's? And also when playing just regular music nothing would be going on with the TV screen. However, it would look phat as hell having a TV screen in dash and then the 9815 right below it, and both options cost about the same amount. Im stuck, help me out!

what model of flip screens are u looking at? Personally I do like the flip screens better.

heres a suggestion

well I have a pioneer avhp7500dvd (with 5.1) and my friend has the clarion vrx935 (without 5.1), both flip out. There are both very good jsut some differences, probly because of the difference between me and my friends usage of them. I would definetly recommend either one of them. Ill go into detail of them both if you want me to in a pm. Pioneer has a lot more options for screensavers ,by the way, my friend always says he wishes he had more options for it. I usually listen to music and have another source going, like tv or the playstation as a screensaver or justt use the ones already on there theres 5.

I got a quesiton. is Clarion any good? It looks like cheap crap to me. But i dont wanna just call it that. Ive never actually used it. Just wondering. They use it on Pimp my ride. Id never put that in my truck. maybe a LCD screen =).

My friends clarion flip out is **** good in my opinion. But not better than my pioneer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . But he is the type that no matter what you have his is always better, and he justifies that by the amount of money he spends....
