its inherently not balanced for SQ from the TS specs from the start. Even with optimal install and ideal enclosure/loading applications, group delay and overall bandwidth/tonality is going to be far below an actual SQ sub in a mediocre install is the difference. Kicker is a daily ground pounder that appeals to average joes. However it will get stomped in SQ lanes.

For budget, dayton audio HO and ultimax series, ar audio arc series, image dynamics IDQ, alpine type S.

For upper tier, adire Brahma, arc audio black series, image dynamics IDmax, hybrid audio technologies clarus, audison voce, JL w6, audiofrog, stereo integrity, Mosconi and gladden subs, german maestro etc..

Top tier SQ subs morel ultimo, focal utopia/ultima

All companies that know what they are doing when it comes to SQ and their product lines do not disappoint
