Is there anyone here with a S-10 or maybe a Ranger? Or someone whos installed stuff on a s-10? I need help finding the best place to drill through the firewall (on a 95 S-10) without having to mess the dash. Any Ideas?

I am pretty sure there is a rubber plug near the firewall near the master cylynder. Look there ans you should find it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I have a 98 Ranger and I had a rubber plug just above the accelarator. It took some looking around. As for the S-10, I don't know where it is, but I remember in a Mini-Truckin mag, they did have to drill a hole in the firewall to run 4 gauge amp wire through it.

I have a 98 s10 x cab and on the passenger side under the carpet the against the lower part of the firwall the antena lead comes in through a large rubber gasket. that is were my 4 gauge power cable is, so just find your antena and follow it through the wall.

hope that is helpfull......

i have a 2000 s10 reg cab..............i have a 12 inch mtx 8000 hooked up to a ppi amp....and it sounds pretty good ( just as good or better than the previuos 2 12 inch jl wo's that i had.............. it was a ***** running hte juice wire .just look for a little plug ........it should be there where the antenna wire is going to ...............
